About this event
Many of us are finding we have more time for the reading we’ve been meaning to do for so long. But libraries and bookstores have restrictions that preclude browsing the stacks or even visiting at all. The alternative comes from your 21st Century Library, which can provide not only downloadable e-books and e-magazines to read on your tablet or phone, but also audiobooks to listen to on walks or while catching up with chores.
Lisa Friedman is a retired EPA lawyer who has taught computer skills to older adults for over a dozen years. She has given presentations for Dupont Circle Village on the DC Library’s music, video, online learning tools and online databases as well as Managing User IDs and Passwords. As before, Ms. Friedman will provide participants with a detailed handout for later reference.
Instructions on accessing this meeting will be sent the morning of the event. If you have not used Zoom before, please log in early so we can give you any needed assistance. General Instructions on how to use Zoom can be found here: Zoom instructions for participants
