New Policy for Registering for DCV Social Hours

Members who have never attended a social hour (or who have only attended 2 social hours in the last 3 months) will be able to pre-register for Social Hours going forward.

Registration opens to all members 7 days in advance of the event. The Social Hours in members’ homes have been a great success and we want to continue to offer them to all members, while also being mindful of people who have not been able to sign up for one.

Cancellation Policy:

Please cancel ASAP if you cannot attend so that we may fill your slot with another guest on the wait list.

About this event

The DC Chamber Musicians of the DC Chamber Orchestra Society will perform a one-hour chamber music concert featuring a trio of reed instruments: Andrea Schewe, oboe; Kimberly Morgan, clarinet; and Kathleen Emery, bassoon.

The program will include an array of works by composers from the 19^th and 20^th centuries including Ange Flégier, Béla Bartók, Scott Joplin, and a medley of holiday music from around the world arranged by Michael Kelly.

The concert will be followed by a reception with light refreshments.
