About this event
The senior living industry can seem overwhelming, but it’s important to remember that there is a housing option tailored to every individual and every situation.
Steve Gurney will discuss the differences between Life Plan Communities, Independent Living Communities, Assisted Living Communities and Nursing and Rehabilitation Centers.
About the Speaker
Steve Gurney founded Positive Aging SourceBook in 1990, inspired by his family's experience caring for his aging grandfather. His goal was to create a comprehensive resource to assist others in similar situations. Over the years, Steve has collaborated with regional and national aging organizations to help them gain exposure and address their challenges.
For more than 25 years Mr. Gurney has fostered a community of senior-serving professionals focused on building connections, sharing resources, and enhancing support and services for seniors and their families. He has organized hundreds of live events, drawing thousands of providers together. In 2020, these gatherings transitioned to interactive online digital discussions providing timely content and featuring internationally renowned thought leaders in the field of aging.
