Join us to learn about "DC Safe at Home," a free program funded by the DC Office on Aging and Community Living (DACL), and operated by Home Care Partners. Alayna Waldrum, the program manager, will talk about the specifics of the program, what they provide, and how to apply.
Safe at Home 1.0 provides in-home assessments and preventative adaptations to reduce the risk of falls for DC residents that are 60 and over and who meet income eligibility requirements.
Safe at Home 2.0 provides free evidence-based classes aimed at decreasing fear of falling and increasing activity (for DC residents 60 and over, with no income restrictions).
