In the 1960s, a well-intentioned doctor convinces the parents of a male infant to raise their son as a girl after a terrible accident. Two decades later, the repercussions of that choice continue to unfold… Inspired by a true story, BOY, by award-winning playwright Anna Ziegler (PHOTOGRAPH 51, ACTUALLY), explores the complicated journey of trying to find love in a new body and the inextricable bonds that are built along the way.

BOY POST-SHOW DISCUSSION

Join us at Keegan for the matinee performance of Anna Ziegler’s BOY on Sunday, February 16 and stay for the FREE post-show discussion immediately following.

Moderated by production dramaturg Liz Winston, the discussion will feature special guests Dr. Kathryn Van Eck, a clinical psychologist at the Kennedy Krieger Institute and at the Emerge Gender and Sexuality Clinic for Children, Adolescents, and Young Adults at Johns Hopkins University, and Susan Marie Rhea, director of BOY and artistic director of the Keegan Theatre.
