About this event
Have you researched your ancestors but ran into a stone wall or just wondered who they might be but did not know where to start? If so, join Ken Shuck with over 25 years of genealogical research experience for a Zoom meeting to learn about family tree research tools, techniques, and databases of information. Contact Ken (kenneth19442000@yahoo.com) to let him know your research experience and what you are interested in learning.
In this meeting, the Genealogy Group will discuss "is it worth" using a large online genealogical data source that requires a fee, such as Ancestry.com, MyHeritage.com, Fold3.com (military), and Newspapers.com.
Instructions on how to log on to this meeting will be sent the morning of the event.
If you have not yet used Zoom, please log in a few minutes early in case you need assistance. General instructions on how to use Zoom can be found here: Zoom instructions for participants
