Guests need to be buzzed into the lobby by the desk person (there is a button to push by the door). The desk person will have a list of attendees to permit them to take the elevator upstairs to the eighth floor. The door to the stairs to the roof is to the left as one exits the elevator. There is flight of stairs to the roof. The north area of the roof deck is reserved. One see us upon exiting the door at the top of the stairs. If the weather is bad, a note on the door to the stairs to the roof to come to Apartment 88 instead, which is down the hall. And, the apartment door will be open throughout the social hour in the event someone wants/needs the facilities. (There are no bathroom facilities on the roof.)2101 is on Connecticut between Wyoming and Kalorama. One can walk north on Connecticut from the Dupont Circle metro or south on Connecticut from the Woodley Park/Zoo metro. There is some but not much parking on the neighborhood streets. There is no parking in front of the building during rush hour, which is 4:30--6:30. The other street parking is usually 2 hours for non-zone 1/2 residents but some is limited to zone 1 residents. A cat resides with me. He will be locked in a room in the apartment but if anyone is very allergic, the apartment has cat dander all over so they will be taking a chance on the weather.
