April Sessions will focus on feet and ankles. 

Habits of the feet are profound and our brain, vestibular system (balance) and sense of safety is connected to how we sense and use our feet and ankles. The moment anything goes wrong with the feet it throws us off in countless ways. During these lessons we will explore Awareness Through Movement lessons that improve sensory details of the toes and feet as they connect to the ankles, hips and back. We will focus on learning how to guide the attention to and experiencing a growing mobility from the ankles and feet as it reaches through your entire self. It can give a new appreciation for how these joints affect our balance, stride, comfort and mobility.


Instructor: Susanne Christov is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She lives in Dupont Circle and teaches private and group Feldenkrais classes in Dupont Circle and in the Washington metropolitan area.
